Don't forget, tomorrow is Picture Day at MCMS!

This evening's MS Softball game at Van-Far has been postponed. At this time, no future date has been scheduled.

Fridays are team building days in Academic Lab, a chance for students and teachers to get to know one another and really build a sense of community.
This past week, in Mrs. Healy's AcLab, students worked in small groups to create Similarity Towers. Each group was given ten minutes to write down as many similarities amongst themselves as they could. They were then challenged to build the tallest towers they could out of those similarities.
Great teamwork, Wildcats!

Mr. Anthes's Social Studies classes worked with groups to learn about the Articles and other parts of the United States Constitution with matching activities.

Ms. Woods's classes harvested apples from our very own apple trees and used them to make applesauce, which was delicious!

More pictures from Mrs. Healy's "Home" activities.

Mrs. Healy's ELA students are reading a short story, "Home," by Hena Khan to learn how characters grow and change through their interactions with secondary characters. This week they worked by partner reading to work on reading fluence and answer some in-reading questions.
Mrs. Healy reports she is very proud of how supportive and cooperative her students were in the activity. Way to go, Wildcats!
