From the desk of Mrs. Chisholm, Seventh Grade Science: "This week we learned about Qualitative and Quantitative Observations. Students completed vocab work, stations, and finished up the week with a Penny Lab to tie it all together with the Scientific Method. How many drops of water can you fit on a penny? We made the first hypothesis as a class then each student ran their own test. Each student then made their own hypothesis. The goal was to take what they learned from the first conclusion, including observations, and change one variable to make the test more successful. Ask your student if their hypothesis was supported or not! Next, we will take our data and put it into graphs. We can’t wait to see what the individual, class, and grade level data looks like!"

Students in Mr. Orr's Social Studies classes learned how to analyze sources to piece together the truth of what happened in a hypothetical school event, much like historians piece together the truth of historical events.
