On 2-2-22 we will celebrate National TuTu Day. Students can wear a tutu over their regular clothes or they can wear a pair of anything. A pair of socks, a pair of earrings, a pair of pants etc. Have fun with and celebrate the 2's with us!
Tomorrow is Dream of Kindness - Pajama Day for Kindness Week.
Dear JBE Fifth Grade Parents,
Each year, we honor our fifth graders who are moving on to middle school with a fifth-grade video. We have some pictures of their time at school, but ask that you consider adding to our collection. If you would like to contribute, you may send in pictures with your student to be scanned and sent back home or you may email them to jfitzgerald@mc-wildcats.org or addavis@mc-wildcats.org. We look forward to seeing the growth and memories made by all of our students!

We are starting our Kindness Challenge Week with Hats off to Kindness - Wear your Favorite Hat.
First grade explored our mini grant items of 3-d geometric solids today. We are excited to use them to help us learn! Ms. Cay's first grade would like to thank the Montgomery City Kiwanis, Jonesburg Lions, Jonesburg Optimist, Jonesburg Lady Lioness, Montgomery City Lions, and the Montgomery County Rotary Clubs for sponsoring the mini grants.

It is important for all families who may qualify to fill out the Free and Reduced Lunch application because just by applying, families can help bring funding to the Montgomery County R-2 District students PK-12. Funding goes directly toward curriculum, teacher salary, family engagement, and more! These funds support student achievement and well-being.
This year, every family that submits an application by Friday, January 21, 2022 will be entered for a chance to win one of two $50 Wal-Mart gift certificates. If you have already filled out a form, we appreciate your help! We only need one application per family. The drawing will include all applications submitted for the 2021-2022 school year. Families will be automatically entered into the drawing, and two winners will be selected at random. Winners will be notified by phone and/or email on or after Tuesday, February 1, 2022.
The Great Kindness Challenge is coming to JBE. Students can participate in a Kindness Challenge and dress up each day. Ther will be prizes and lots of fun.
Congratulations to Mrs. Vicente's class for being awrded the Golden Trashcan and Mrs. Scott's class for being awarded the Golden Broom on January 19.
