Jonesburg Elementary School is pleased to announce it has received a $2,000 Wa-Mart Community Grant from the Warrenton Wal-Mart to help upgrade the sound system in their cafeteria.
The project to upgrade the sound system will help with assemblies. The current system is outdated and not always compatible with current technology. The new system will not only be a benefit to the school but will also help provide a space for community events, presentations, and meetings.
Jonesburg Elementary was thrilled to receive the Wal-Mart Community Grant.
The MCHS FCCLA officers are ready to collect soda tabs to donate to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mid-Missouri. They will be collecting tabs until Friday, February 18. Send your tabs to school with your student. The class who collects the most tabs will win a popcorn party.
Wednesday, February 16 is Change the World Day. Students may donate their change and wear mismached socks or a hat and support Grow2Gather.
The JBE PTO is sponsoring the Sweetheart Dance (formally Daddy/Daughter Dance) on Friday, February 25 from 6:30-8pm at the shcool. JBE girls are encouraged to bring someone close to their heart. There will be dancing, snacks, and a Princess Crowning. Join us Friday, February 25 for the Sweetheart Dance.

It's the first Wednesday of the month, that mean's it's JBE day at Frumpy's. Frumpy Joe's has generously offered to donate 10% of their sales to Jonesburg Elementary! We are very thankful for the continued support we get from our awesome community! Thank you to Frumpy Joe's for thinking of our students!

Tomorrow, 2-2-22, we will celebrate National TuTu Day. Students can wear a tutu over their regular clothes or they can wear a pair of anything. A pair of socks, a pair of earrings, a pair of pants etc. Have fun with and celebrate the 2's with us!
It truly takes a village and we have a great one! This post is a shoutout to the amazing ladies that have helped us the past couple weeks by substituting at Jonesburg Elementary!
