
JBE Field Day Reminder:
Friday, May 9th, 2025 will be the date of our annual Field Day. Field day will start at 12:30PM and end at 3:00PM. Parents & Guardians are allowed to attend this year.
Your child will be messy, dirty, and wet by the end of the Field Day. Students can bring the below items to make sure their day is a success.
Water Bottle— Students do have some time for drinks and restrooms, but a water bottle can be convenient, please make sure you put your child’s name on his or her water bottle.
Hat—Not necessary, but they are allowed. They must be worn appropriately.
Sunglasses—Not necessary, but they are allowed. They must be worn appropriately.
ABSOLUTELY NEED!! Towel and Change of Clothes—Please bring a towel to dry off with and an extra pair of clothes to change into after Field day is over.
ABSOLUTELY NEED!! Small bag—Can be useful to hold your child’s water bottle, towel, and any other necessary items he or she needs for Field day.
Sunscreen—this will not be provided. Please put this on your child or send a labeled bottle.


Join us in celebrating our preschool students at our Kindergarten Here We Come Celebration on Wednesday, May 21 at 3:00pm in the JBE Preschool Lobby. Doors open at 2:55pm.


Join us in celebrating our 5th grade students at our 5th Grade Celebration on Tuesday, May 20 at 6:00pm in the JBE Gym. Doors open at 5:45pm.


Jonesburg Lioness made us feel special today for Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week. THANK YOU ladies for the tasty sandwiches, chips, and brownies. More importantly, thank you for always supporting JBE students and staff.




JBE 5th Grade students are expected to return from the Cardinals game at 4:45 per the GPS. Please plan to pick them up at the PK doors. Thank you to the Jonesburg Optimist for sponsoring the trip.


JBE is so lucky to have Nurse Amanda. She takes excellent care of our students and staff. Thank you Nurse Amanda for everything you do. Happy National Nurses Day.

The last day of school is fast approaching. Don't forget that May 22nd is a half-day. Mark your calendar for the end-of-day times: 12:15 pickups, 12:20 walkers, and 12:55 ish bus pickup


It's Teacher Appreciation Week. JBE is grateful to have such wonderful and caring teachers. Thank you for everything you do for our students.


JBE 4th Grade students will be MAP testing on ⅚, 5/7 and 5/8. Please remind your student to get a good night's rest, eat a good breakfast, and do their best on the test! We believe in them and know you do too. Please encourage them with our testing slogan, “Wands Ready, Minds Steady, Let’s Conquer the Test.” Do your best and let it rest!
