
It's time to sign up for Summer Book Boxes. Students can sign up for a summer book box. The box will contain 2-4 books, activities to do at home over the summer, and some goodies. Students can keep everything in the box including the books and it's FREE. Flyers wre in Friday Folders. If you can't find the flyer, you can send a note to school requesting a book box for your student.


It's School Bus Driver Appreciation Day. Thank you to all our bus drivers for getting our students to and from school safely each day.


Join us in celebrating our 5th grade students at our 5th Grade Celebration on Tuesday, May 20 at 6:00pm in the JBE Gym. Doors open at 5:45pm.

JBE 3rd Grade students will be MAP testing on 4/23 and 4/24. Please remind your student to get a good night's rest, eat a good breakfast, and do their best on the test! We believe in them and know you do too. Please encourage them with our testing slogan, “Wands Ready, Minds Steady, Let’s Conquer the Test.” Do your best and let it rest!


There is NO School April 18-21. We will see you back on Tuesday, April 22.


Dear Parents & Guardians, Friday May 9th, 2025 will be the date of our annual Field Day. Field day will start at 12:30PM and end at 3:00PM. Parents & Guardians are allowed to attend this year. Your child will be messy, dirty, and wet by the end of the Field Day. Students can bring the below items to make sure their day is a success. Water Bottle— Students do have some time for drinks and restrooms, but a water bottle can be convenient, please make sure you put your child’s name on his or her water bottle. Hat—Not necessary, but they are allowed. They must be worn appropriately. Sunglasses—Not necessary, but they are allowed. They must be worn appropriately. ABSOLUTELY NEED!! Towel and Change of Clothes—Please bring a towel to dry off with and an extra pair of clothes to change into after Field day is over. ABSOLUTELY NEED!! Small bag—Can be useful to hold your child’s water bottle, towel, and any other necessary items he or she needs for Field day. Sunscreen—this will not be provided. Please put this on your child or send a labeled bottle.


The Delores Miller Young Author's Day is coming up on Thursday, April 17. This year our featured author is Stephanie Bearce. Mrs. Bearce is featuring two of her books this year: The Secret of Moonrise Manor and The Library Monsters. Orders and money are due TOMORROW if you would like to purchase a signed books.


We encourage you to mark your calendars and help us ensure your student is here, rested and ready to do their best on their upcoming tests. While we always focus on individual student growth, we also value their hard work and best efforts on our mandatory standardized tests.
This year our testing slogan is “Wands Ready, Minds Steady, Let’s Conquer the Test”.
When we return from Easter Break, we will hit the ground running with testing.
All K-5 students will participate in i-Ready End of the Year Diagnostic testing.
K, 1st, 2nd, 4th, & 5th grades will test sometime between Tuesday, April 22 and Friday, April 25th. Third grade will test April 29th - May 2nd.
In addition, 3rd, 4th & 5th grade will participate in statewide MAP Testing on the following dates.
3rd Grade: April 23rd & 24th
4th Grade: May 6th, 7th & 8th
5th Grade: April 30th, May 1st & 2nd
Our hallways will be decorated with encouraging decorations. Please remind your students to eat a good breakfast, get a good night's sleep, use their tools, and believe in themselves. We believe in them and know you do too!
Please encourage your students to Conquer the Test. Do your best and let it rest!

Yearbooks arrived early. If you ordered a yearbook, check your student's Friday Folder for your yearbook. We also have a few extra copies. If you forgot to order and want one, contact the office. Yearbooks are $14 and on a first come first serve basis.


ATTENTION LARRY RICHARDS CLUB MEMBERS: The Larry Richards Club will meet Wednesday, April 9 after school to stuff eggs from 3:35-4:10pm.


The Student Council is hosting a Blood Drive on Thursday, April 10th. Our goal is to have 35 donors. We would love for you to consider donating blood at our blood drive.
Every day, blood donors help patients of all ages: accident and burn victims, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, and those battling cancer. In fact, every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood.
