We are very excited about our whole school field trip to Rooster's Farm. Parents, guardians, and field trip chaperones, please read the expectations so that you are prepared. If you have any questions, please call our office before 11 am on Friday. THANK YOU to the Jonesburg Optimist, Jonesburg Lions and the JBE PTO for making this trip possible!

JBE Student Council is helping out the MCHS FCCLA by collecting ANY NEW health, hunger, or hygiene item. All items will be donated first to our local school buildings, then extra items will be donated to the Care to Learn project that provides items to students in schools across Missouri.
JBE will be collecting October 14-17.

The JBE Student Council presented a check to Mrs. Janet Stumbaugh for the NRG Buddy Pack program. The NRG Buddy Pack program was the focus of the student council's first Change the World Day this year.

Lily and Reed of the MCHS Ag Department visited JBE to talk about the Ag Department, FFA, and being a MCHS Wildcat.

The Montgomery County Health Department will be at JBE on Wednesday, October 22nd. Forms were sent home in Friday Folders.

The Jonesburg Optimist Club sponsors the Jonesburg Elementary 5th Grade Optimist Student of the Month. In order to receive this award, students make their classmates feel that there is something special about them, they look for the positive or sunny side of everything to make their optimism come true, and they forget about the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future. Each Student of the Month receives a plaque presented by the Optimist Club.

Jonesburg Elementary honored their Kiwanis Terrific Kids. The Terrific Kids is a student-recognition program that promotes character development, self-esteem and perseverance. “Terrific” is an acronym for Thoughtful, Enthusiastic, Respectful, Responsible, Inclusive, Friendly, Inquisitive and Capable. This program is sponsored by the Montgomery City Kiwanis Club.

ATTENTION JBE 4th & 5th Grade: Don't forget there is a Larry Richards Club Meeting this week, Oct 3rd 3:35-4:10pm. Please note if your student will go home a different way to let the office know. Students must have a signed permission form to participate in Larry Richards Club.
