Fredbird and Kyle McClellan (former Cardinals pitcher) are going to join us at JBE on March 18th at 10:00 am. If you plan to attend the assembly, you MUST RSVP to the office (833-662-6228 ext. 4103) or your student's teacher so that we can have chairs set up. The assembly will be in the Cafeteria because preschool screening will be in the gym. Please wear RED or Cardinal gear on the 18th - it is also Change the World Day for the Jonesburg-High Hill Fire Department.
Message from the image below:
The St. Louis Cardinals are proud to partner with your school to bring Fredbird & Friends
Elementary School Program presented by Raising Cane’sto your student. We will help the school community think about the question, “What makes a good teammate?” A member of the Cardinals organization will accompany our beloved Fredbird to your school’s assembly to promote the program’s key messages: Be Active! Be Responsible! and Be Yourself!
Fredbird & Friends was designed to be a fun, interactive way for students to better understand how they can be successful at school, at home, and in life.
This includes:
• Being physically active and participating in extracurricular activities and clubs;
• Valuing what makes them unique as well as the contributions of others;
• Working together with peers, teachers, and family members; and
• Seeking out help from the adults in their lives who can help them achieve their goals.
We’ve provided teachers and school leaders with materials to help them get ready for the
assembly. You might hear your student mention an essay contest or other activities their class is working on to incorporate the program messages. Our goal is to provide enriching opportunities that make learning fun. We’ve also encouraged the school to decorate in Cardinal Red in preparation for the big day!
We invite you to join us for the assembly! Families are an important part of the school community, and our program is reinforcing messages that you may already be emphasizing with your student at home. We hope that you also continue the conversation about teamwork at home after our visit to your school.

Join us for Family Fun Night TONIGHT - Tuesday, March 10 from 6-7:15pm. There will be games, prizes, snacks, and the opportunity to shop the book fair. The PTO meeting has been postponed.
