Thank you for your patience as MCE and the MCR-2 district continue to navigate Infinite Campus for online enrollment and mass communication. Early registration helps us significantly as we plan and prepare for the upcoming school year. If you still need to complete registration, we encourage you to visit us on Tuesday, August 6, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Once your registration is verified, you can request a letter from your child’s teacher at the MCE office. If you believe you have completed your registration but have not yet received a letter, please contact the MCE office at 573-564-3711 for assistance.

Dear Parent/Guardian, Hello, my name is Mrs. Kate Healy and I teach 6th grade English Language Arts at Montgomery County R-II Middle School. I wanted to reach out to you, on behalf of the MCMS ELA Department, regarding summer reading. I am aware that the summer months are a welcome opportunity for fun and relaxation. However, I am hopeful that this summer will also be a continued opportunity for students to carry on reading self-selected books. MCMS will not be hosting a formal summer reading project this year. However, I still encourage students to continue to read self-selected books of their choosing over the summer months. You will find a list of book ideas and resources for you to use to support your child’s reading efforts in a separate document in your email. Please know we are here to help your child succeed, so please do not hesitate to reach out should you require assistance of any kind over the summer months. Yours in education, Mrs. Kate Healy khealy@mc-wildcats.org
