🎭 A Big Thank You to Our PTO! 🎭 We are excited to announce that thanks to our amazing PTO, all MCE students will enjoy the Metro Theatre production of "But What Can You Do" on February 21st! 🌟 This wonderful performance will provide our students with a unique, engaging experience that encourages them to think, learn, and grow. We are so grateful for the PTO’s continued support in bringing such enriching opportunities to our school community. 🙏💙 Thank you, PTO, for making this event possible!

🚨 Reminder: Wednesday, 2/19/25, will be AMI Day #3! 📚 Learning menus for Preschool-5th grade are now posted on the MCE website: https://www.mc-wildcats.org/o/mces. 🌟 Students should complete 5 activities (4 core subjects + 1 special). They can also do 20 minutes of iReady reading/math and 20 minutes of additional reading each AMI day. 🖊️ On AMI Day #1, MCE had an 83% completion rate! 🌟 AMI Day Reminder – Tuesday, 2/18/25 🌟 Parents, just a reminder that Tuesday, 2/18/25 will be another AMI Day for all students! To help your child stay on track, we’ve posted AMI learning menus for Preschool through 5th grade on our school website. 👉 Access the menus here: https://www.mc-wildcats.org/o/mces (Click the "AMI Menus" link in the top right corner and choose your child’s grade level.) Students are required to complete: ✔️ 5 activities: 4 in core subjects (reading, writing, math, science, or social studies) 1 from a specials class (library, art, music, or PE) Additionally, students may choose to complete 20 minutes of iReady reading and/or math and 20 minutes of reading tasks, even if they already completed these tasks on AMI Day #1. ✅ MCE saw an 83% completion rate on AMI Day #1! We’re aiming for at least 80% completion district-wide to avoid the need for a makeup snow day. Thank you for your dedication to your child's learning! 🚔 SRO Appreciation Day: A Big Thank You! 🚔 Today, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Deputy Ault for ensuring a secure learning environment and building positive relationships with our students. Ault also helps monitor student attendance on a weekly basis and works closely with school personnel to ensure that student needs are met. 💙 We’d also like to thank Officer King for being there during school pick-up and dismissal, and for providing essential safety training for our staff. Your efforts help keep our school safe and prepared every day. 🙏 We are grateful for both of you and the important work you do to support our students and staff! 👮‍♂️👏

MCR-2 will return to in-seat learning on Thursday, 2/13/25. Please be sure to send any completed AMI work back to school. Also, please note that sidewalks around the school campus and at bus stops may be slick, so travel with care. We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!
