2023-24 Yearbooks have arrived! If you ordered a yearbook and would like to pick it up, they are available in the MCE Office from 8:00-3:00 each day (Tuesday-Friday). Yearbooks have been sent home with any student who is attending summer school. All other orders will be available during Open House on August 15th.
We hope this message finds you well. We wanted to inform you of a slight delay in the production of our 2023-24 yearbooks. However, we are pleased to announce that we are expecting the yearbooks to arrive next week.
Once they are in our possession, we are committed to distributing them to you as efficiently as possible. Here are the details regarding the distribution process:
1. Summer School: Students attending summer school will receive their yearbooks during this period.
2. Pickup at MCE Office: For those who are not attending summer school, yearbooks can be picked up at the MCE office starting from June 11 through June 21st, between the hours of 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
3. 2024 Open House: Yearbooks will also be available for pickup during the 2024 Open House event.
We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who purchased a yearbook and for your patience and understanding during this process. We are working closely with Wagner Photography to ensure that the yearbooks are delivered to you in a timely manner.
Dear Parent/Guardian,
Hello, my name is Mrs. Kate Healy and I teach 6th grade English Language Arts at Montgomery County R-II Middle School. I wanted to reach out to you, on behalf of the MCMS ELA Department, regarding summer reading. I am aware that the summer months are a welcome opportunity for fun and relaxation. However, I am hopeful that this summer will also be a continued opportunity for students to carry on reading self-selected books.
MCMS will not be hosting a formal summer reading project this year. However, I still encourage students to continue to read self-selected books of their choosing over the summer months. You will find a list of book ideas and resources for you to use to support your child’s reading efforts in a separate document in your email.
Please know we are here to help your child succeed, so please do not hesitate to reach out should you require assistance of any kind over the summer months.
Yours in education,
Mrs. Kate Healy
