Tuesday, October 3rd is picture day at MCE! Also, in celebration of homecoming week, it is also pajama day across the district. So, we plan to have picture day on top with nice shirts and pajama day on the bottom with pj pants or shorts. We hope that your MCE Wildcat enjoys this spin on traditional picture day attire. See the attached picture for directions on how to order pictures from Wagner. They are accepting online orders only.

PTO meeting tonight at 6 p.m. in the cafeteria. Please join us for an opportunity to meet PTO Board Members and have an opportunity to voice opinions for fun events you’d like your student to have this year!

Good morning! As some may know, the air conditioning in the Pre-School through 2nd-grade hallway has not worked consistently over the past two weeks. Repairs are scheduled for Friday, September 8th. This morning's forecast indicates it's going to be warm this week. Each classroom is equipped with fans. However, students are encouraged to dress accordingly and bring a water bottle. We appreciate your help in keeping our students as comfortable as possible.

Good afternoon! Thank you to those families who have called in or sent notes in preparation for this afternoon's pick-up. MCE will have over 55 families in the pick-up line this afternoon. In order to keep all students safe and get you through the pick-up line as quickly as possible please: 1. Stay in the line of cars, do not park. 2. Pull as far forward as possible. 3. Remain in your car, we will bring your child to you. 4. While we start loading cars at 3:45, it is alright to wait until about 4:00 to come to MCE. This will help you avoid the line. 5. Please put your student's name on a piece of paper on your driver's side front windshield. Please be patient as we work to get your child to you as quickly and safely as possible. Should you plan to pick up again tomorrow please send a note with your child. We look forward to seeing you soon!

MCE is hosting Student Registration from noon until 8:00 pm on August 8th. Please bring proof of residency and immunization records to get your child registered for the 2023-2024 school year. The August 8th in-person registration is for any student who has not been fully registered online.

There has been some mischief at MCE the past couple of days! Yesterday we came in to new teacher names and today our halls were covered in toilet paper! Keep an eye out for those sneaky elves!
