
The Student Council is hosting a Blood Drive on Thursday, April 10th. Our goal is to have 35 donors. We would love for you to consider donating blood at our blood drive.
Every day, blood donors help patients of all ages: accident and burn victims, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, and those battling cancer. In fact, every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood.

The Jonesburg Elementary Staff was honored with the Board of Directors Award from the Joneburg-High Hill Fire Protection District at their recent annual banquet. The staff was recognized for their community outreach with the Fire Protection District. Thank you to the Jonesburg-High Hill Fire Protection District for this recognition.

Congratulations to Mrs. Keri Rhodes for her recognition of 2024-2025 Jonesburg Elementary Teacher of the Year! We are very proud of Mrs. Keri and thankful for the love and grace she shows her students daily.

TOMORROW is the JBE StuCo Change the World Day - Wednesday, March 19. Students can bring a stuffed animal or wear a hat and donate their change to make a difference. All change collected this month will go to the Happy Hearts Animal Rescue.


JBE kicked off their 8th One Book, One Community event today. Students recieved a copy of Frindle and are reading it together this month. If you would like to read with us, stop by the school and pick up your free copy of Frindle.

The Larry Richards Club's Annual Pancake Breakfast is Sunday, March 9 from 8:00 am to Noon. Join the Larry Richards Club for a great breakfast. After breakfast, stop by the JBE Library and check out the Book Fair. The Book Fair will be open on Sunday during the pancake breakfast.

The Delores Miller Young Author's Day is coming up on Thursday, April 17. This year our featured author is Stephanie Bearce. Mrs. Bearce is featuring two of her books this year: The Secret of Moonrise Manor and The Library Monsters. If you would like to purchase a signed books, please fill out the form and return it to school with your money by April 17.
