
Yearbooks arrived early. If you ordered a yearbook, check your student's Friday Folder for your yearbook. We also have a few extra copies. If you forgot to order and want one, contact the office. Yearbooks are $14 and on a first come first serve basis.


It's the JBE StuCo Change the World Day on Wednesday, April 16. Students can wear tie dye or a hat and donate their change to make a difference. All change collected this month will go to our Local Special Olympics Track Meet.


ATTENTION LARRY RICHARDS CLUB MEMBERS: The Larry Richards Club will meet Wednesday, April 9 after school to stuff eggs from 3:35-4:10pm.


The Student Council is hosting a Blood Drive on Thursday, April 10th. Our goal is to have 35 donors. We would love for you to consider donating blood at our blood drive.
Every day, blood donors help patients of all ages: accident and burn victims, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, and those battling cancer. In fact, every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood.

The Delores Miller Young Author's Day is coming up on Thursday, April 17. This year our featured author is Stephanie Bearce. Mrs. Bearce is featuring two of her books this year: The Secret of Moonrise Manor and The Library Monsters. If you would like to purchase a signed books, please fill out the form and return it to school with your money by April 17.

ATTENTION 4th & 5th GRADE PARENTS: The Larry Richards Club will meet THIS WEEK, Friday, April 4 at 3:35 pm. The Larry Richards Club is open to all 4th and 5th grade JBE students with a signed permission form.


The JBE PTO sent home Cash Cube Pledge Fundraiser forms in Friday Folders today. Students are encouraged to collect pledges to purchase "chances" for an opportunity to spend ONE MINUTE in the "Cash Cube." Chances are only for JBE students. $1=1 entry and $5=6 entries. One student's name will be drawn to be in the cash cube for every $250 the fundraiser brings in. The two students who raise the most money will have a choice between movie and popcorn for your class or an hour for you and two friends with the staff member of your choice. Pledge sheets and money are due Tuesday, April 5.

The Jonesburg Elementary Staff was honored with the Board of Directors Award from the Joneburg-High Hill Fire Protection District at their recent annual banquet.
