JBE will be filming the Daily Pledge for KOMU on Friday, October 20th. We are encouraging students to wear their Red, White, and Blue on that day.
We waited as long as we could to make the decision, but it does not look like the weather is going to cooperate with our fun-filled fall field trip plans for Friday the 13th. Due to the increased chance of thunderstorms including hail, we have decided to postpone the field trip to Roosters Farm to Friday, October 20th. The time, schedule, details, and procedures will remain the same except for the date. If you were scheduled to attend the field trip and cannot because of the date change, need to change who your student is allowed to leave with or are now available to chaperone (and have the appropriate paperwork on file) please e-mail cfuthey@mc-wildcats.org or send a note in. As always, our student's safety is our number one priority. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. On a side note, Fire Prevention Day will continue as planned.

Spirit Wear Order Forms went home this week in Friday Folders. Spirit Wear makes a great gift and shows off your Wildcat Pride. Orders and money are due to the school October 27 for the first round of orders. Scan the QR code on the form and order online.

If you want to take your student with you or for your student to leave with another approved adult after the field trip from Rooster’s, YOU NEED TO SEND A NOTE TO SCHOOL ASAP or e-mail cfuthey@mc-wildcats.org or rhans@mc-wildcats.org LETTING US KNOW PRIOR to 8AM on FRIDAY SO THAT WE CAN HAVE YOUR STUDENT BRING THEIR BACKPACK on the bus.
What to expect when you arrive:
NO adults will be allowed in unless they are on the approved chaperone list.
Please meet us at Rooster’s Farm at 12:45. (30903 Honey Locust Rd Jonesburg, MO. 63351)
All adults must check in with Mrs. Chris or Mrs. Rachel at the front gate.
When you check in you will get a wristband and an exit ticket if you have prearranged taking a student with you.
When students arrive around 1:00 classes will line up by their cone near the pavilion.
Rooster’s will give us an introduction and let us know what activities are available.
You will be introduced to your group - please be patient as some groups have multiple grade levels in them.
You will be free to roam the “farm” with your group until it is time to line up at 2:45. Please listen for three whistles which means “line up”.
At that point, please return your students to their classroom cone.
After teachers have done attendance, you may show your exit ticket and take your student. Please be patient. Student safety is our number one concern.
There will be a water station available. Please make sure students dispose of their cups appropriately before leaving the area.
There will be no food purchased for students. Please respect this rule as we have several food allergies.
Students can purchase things from the gift shop if there is time and IF they have money. If they do not have money, they do not need to enter the gift shop.
ALL students will be given a free pumpkin. Please visit the pumpkin wagon that is for JBE and have your group pick out their pumpkin. Then, please write their name on the bottom with a Sharpie and put the pumpkin in the student's classroom line. Please remind your group that they may say, yes please or no thank you.
There are Porta Potties for your use on the property.
The kids are stoked, don’t forget to get a good night's sleep and wear your patient pants.

Join JBE for a colorful morning of fun. The JBE PTO Color Run is scheduled for Saturday, October 7th at 9:30 am. Didn't register? You can still sign up, but you will not receive a shirt. You can show up on race day and register at 9am for 9:30 race. Thanks for supporting our PTO.

The JBE Student Council is sponsoring Ice Cream Friday on the first Friday of each month. For $1 students may choose an ice cream sandwich, drumstick, or fruit bar on Ice Cream Friday. Students can pay each month or for the whole year.
