We would like to invite our preschool families to our Kindergarten Here We Come Celebration on Tuesday, May 23 at 3:30 in the Preschool Lobby.


Our athletes had a great time at the Special Olympics.





Field Day is Friday, May 12. Coach Rodgers has lots of fun planned for us this year. Don't forget to send extra clothes, a small bag, sunscreen, and a water bottle with your student.

Summer is quickly approaching. This year the JBE Library will be offering FREE Summer Book Boxes. Each box will contain books picked specifically for your student, summer activities, and some goodies. Read the books and return the box and books in the fall. The goodies are yours to keep. Book boxes will be sent home on Monday, May 22. Sign your student up for a Summer Book Box by May 5th.


All meal balances must be paid by the end of school. If you have money left on your account it will roll to the next school year. You can log onto your parent portal or e-mail rhans@mc-wildcats.org to inquire about your student's current balance.
We encourage you to send in money to pay off your debt and put money on for the remainder of the year. If you need support, please reach out to Nurse Amanda, Mrs. Hall, or Ms. Krattli.


It's the first Wednesday of the month. Take the day off from cooking and stop by Frumpy's for lunch or dinner. 10% of all sales today will be donated to Jonesburg Elementary. Thank you to Frumpy's for your continued support.

JBE will be celebrating our teachers and staff the week of May 2nd - May 5th. We've been blessed by a lot of community support throughout this year and we are very thankful to the people and organizations that have reached out and offered to help honor our staff.

Ag Safety Day is Friday, May 5 for our K-2 students. Permission forms were sent home in Friday folders. If you haven't gotten yours returned, please get it sent back to school.


The Montgomery Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution provided Jonesburg Elementary kindergarten classes with American Flags. Shirley Swearingen and Orlana Gardner spoke with the students about the importance of the flag and how to care for your flag. Thank you to the DAR.
