It's hot and humid, and maybe a little rainy. Join us for a book from the library. Today is JBE Summer Library Day. Stop in any time between 11 am and 6 pm for a story, activity, and to check out a book. This week we have nautical folklore activities. Summer Library is open every Thursday through August 3rd.

The Montgomery County Fair is here which means it's time to start thinking about what is left on your summer must-do list and marking your calendar for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. Our JBE staff has been busy enjoying summer and making plans for a great year! See you soon!

It's that time of summer when you might be starting to think about school supplies. We had some amazing sponsors that donated money to purchase many of the supplies needed for our Jonesburg Elementary students. The remaining items needed for each student are listed on the 23-24 JBE Supply List by grade level.   Please purchase and bring on Teacher Meet & Greet night (8/17/23) or the first day of school (8/22/23)! We will be sharing “Amazon Teacher Wish Lists” at the end of July/early August for additional group items teachers could use to enhance learning in the classroom. Book Boxes are going home with students today. Enjoy your summer reading and thank you for signing up for a Summer Book Box.

There is a menu change for Wednesday, May 24. Menu 1 will be Chicken Patty. Menu 2 will be Roast Turkey. There will be no Menu 3 option.

You are invited to celebrate the class of 2030 at our 5th Grade Celebration TONIGHT, Monday, May 22 at 6:00 pm in the Jonesburg Elementary Gym. Doors will open at 5:45 pm.

All meal balances must be paid by the end of school. If you have money left on your account it will roll to the next school year. You can log onto your parent portal or e-mail rhans@mc-wildcats.org to inquire about your student's current balance. We encourage you to send in money to pay off your debt and put money on for the remainder of the year. If you need support, please reach out to Nurse Amanda, Mrs. Hall, or Ms. Krattli.

Don't forget, we have Monday school on Monday, May 22. It will be a Thursday specials day so most of our students will have Art.

Please see the attached letter with information about registration for the 2023-2024 school year. The district has to change student information systems over the summer, so we need to begin registration for next school year earlier than we usually do.
