Join JBE for a colorful morning of fun. The JBE PTO Color Run is scheduled for Saturday, October 7th at 9:00 am. Registrations are due back to the school by Tuesday, September 12th. Make sure your registration is in on time to guarantee your color run shirt.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS! JBE will be hosting GRAND's Day on September 15th. In case you are wondering, GRAND's stands for Grandparents, Relatives, Aunts & uncles, Neighbors, & Devoted caregivers. Watch your student's Friday folder for and RSVP and more information on GRAND's Day. We look forward to shining a light on our GRAND's! RSVPs went home in Friday Folders and are due back September 8th.

ATTENTION 4th & 5th GRADE FAMILIES: Gardening Club is back at JBE. Gardening Club will begin on Wednesday, September 30th. 4th and 5th grade students wanting to participate must return a signed permission form first. Check your Friday folders for the permission form.

Help us Welcome Deputy Tyler King from the Montgomery County Sheriff's Department to our MCR2 team. Deputy King has been hired to be our School Resource Officer (SRO) for this school year. He will partner with our School Based Social Worker, Mrs. Kylee Waite and our JBE Counselor, Lacy Gambill in a variety of ways to help our students access the resources and education that they need! You may see him at anything from events to dropoff/pick up. He will be very present in all of our buildings. When you see him say hello and introduce yourself! Welcome to the Wildcat Family, Deputy King!

It's hot and humid, and maybe a little rainy. Join us for a book from the library. Today is JBE Summer Library Day. Stop in any time between 11 am and 6 pm for a story, activity, and to check out a book. This week we have nautical folklore activities. Summer Library is open every Thursday through August 3rd.

The Montgomery County Fair is here which means it's time to start thinking about what is left on your summer must-do list and marking your calendar for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. Our JBE staff has been busy enjoying summer and making plans for a great year! See you soon!
