Wednesday, March 6th- Change the World Wednesday- $1 hat day
Wednesday, March 6th- 100th Day Celebration- wear a 100th day shirt or dress like you are 100 years old. It is also "Wacky Wednesday", so wear wacky pants, socks, or shoes with your 100th-day gear.
Wednesday, March 6th- MCE will be participating in the statewide tornado drill.
Thursday, March 7th- "The Day the Crayons Came Home"- wear your favorite color
Friday, March 8th- Character Day- dress as your favorite book character or wear your Hogwarts house colors.
MCE students and staff will be celebrating the 100th day of school on Wednesday, March 6th. Students are invited to join wear a 100th-day t-shirt or dress like they are 100 years old.
We are proud of the great things our students have accomplished over the first 100 days of school and look forward to celebrating with them!

Wednesday- Wear your favorite jersey or team shirt. Change the World Day- wear a hat for $1
Thursday- Team Color Day (PreK- red, K- orange, 1st- yellow, 2nd- green, 3rd- blue, 4th-purple, 5th- pink)
Friday- Game Day! Wear your Wildcat gear or blue & white!

Tuesday, January 30: We will have pajama day tomorrow, January 30th! This will count in the Great Kindness Challenge class participation competition.

Mother-Daughter Paint Night at MCE has been rescheduled for Friday, February 2nd beginning at 6:00 pm. If you are unable to attend the make-up date and have already paid, please contact PTO and they will refund your payment. The PTO officers can be reached at montgomerycityelementarypto@gmail.com

The guidelines for indoor recess are when outside temperatures are 20 degrees or less or the outside temperature when combined with the wind chill factor of 20 degrees or less. If the heat index is 100 degrees or above, students will remain inside during recess.
Classes go outside for recess as much as possible. Please ensure that your child comes to school prepared for outdoor recess.
