The Jonesburg Optimist Club sponsors the Jonesburg Elementary 5th Grade Optimist Student of the Month. In order to receive this award, students make their classmates feel that there is something special about them, they look for the positive or sunny side of everything to make their optimism come true, and they forget about the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future. Each Student of the Month receives a plaque presented by the Optimist Club. Congratulations to Dean and Keane for being the Jonesburg Optimist Fifth Grade Students of the Month of October.

Schedule for November 6th, 13th and 20th. 1st and 2nd Grade Girls and Boys- 8:00-9:00 am MCE 3rd-6th Grade Boys- 9:30 - 10:30 am MCHS 3rd - 6th Grade Girls- 10:45 - 11:45 am MCHS We will be utilizing both the MCE Gym and the HS Gym for skill work. We feel the extra space provided in the HS gym will be a benefit to us to space them out.
The JBE Veterans Day Celebration is Thursday, November 11. Students may wear their red, white, and blue to honor our veterans.
