Tomorrow, Wednesday, September 15 is our first Change the World day at JBE. Students can bring in their change, wear a hat, and help make a change in our community and world. This month all donations will go to the NRG Buddy Pack program. NRG Packs provides weekend bags of nutritious, kid-friendly, easy-to-prepare foods for students in the Montgomery County R2 Schools and Immaculate Conception School.

Students who set and example of one of our 5 Be's - Respectful, Cooperative, Responsible, Kind, Safe - are presented with Positive Passenger cards. Each week we draw two random cards and recognize our Postive Passengers of the week. Congratulations to our Positive Passengers this week.

Just a reminder, Gardening Club begins this week. 4th grade will have gardening club today (Tuesday) and 5th grade will have gardening club tomorrow (Wednesday) until 4:10. Students must have a signed permission form to participate.


The Book Fair is coming. A letter and flyer was sent home in Friday Folders last week. The book fair will open with a preview and shopping day on Friday, September 10. Every year the volleyball team hosts a "Pink Out" game to help raise money to donate to local charities in the ongoing fight against cancer.
The MCHS Volleyball Team will host its annual Pink Out game on October 5 at 5:00 pm. Please come out and support the volleyball team!
