JBE is having a Wildcat Friday TOMORROW (Friday, October 14) to celebrate all our great Wildcats. The MCHS Softball team is 2-0 in post-season play and start playing in Distrticts tomorrow. We are rooting for the MCHS Football team and looking to see if they can extend their winning streak. And our Youth Football and Youth Cheerleaders have their last football game on Saturday. So don your blue and white or Wildcat gear and help support the Wildcats.

This week is National School Lunch Week. Opaa is celebrating by handing out stickers, pencils, and coloring sheets to students. Happy National School Lunch Week.

Larry Richards Club Members and Families, Our first Larry Richards Club meeting will be held TODAY, Friday, October 7, from 3:40-4:10. Permission slip must be returned to attend meetings. Most other meetings will be held on the first Friday of each month. If you have any questions, please contact the office.

The JBE Veterans Day Celebration is coming soon and with it our Wall of Honor. If you would like to add your Veteran to our Wall of Honor, please fill out the form and send it back to school. If you have sent us the name of your Veteran in the past two years, they are already on our Wall of Honor. Names are due back to school by Wednesday, November 2.

Join us for the Title I Family Fun Under the Lights event Friday, October 21st before the Hero Night football game at the high school. The event runs from 5:30 to 6:30 and is free with your paid admission to the game. We will have fun, games, and prizes.

Thank you to everyone who supported our book fair this fall. We had a record-breaking sale. Our book fair put over 875 books in the hands of our students and families. We also gave away over 300 books to our students and classrooms. We had a popcorn popsicle party to celebrate.




It is JBE StuCo Ice Cream Friday at JBE this week. If you haven't sent your dollar for your ice cream, there is still time.
