The Book Fair is just around the corner. We will kick-off our Spring Book Fair with "Hole Lotta Books event on Friday, March 7 from 7:30-8:00 am. Come shop the book fair before it officailly opens and enjoy some donut holes. Student will be given an opportunity to shop during the school day until Friday, March 14. Parents are also welcome to shop during Family Fun Night on Tuesday, March 11. All proceedes from the book fair stay at JBE. Thank you for your support.
Mark your calendars. MAP testing begins April 23rd for 3rd Grade, April 30th for 5th Grade, and May 6th for 4th Grade.
The Larry Richards Club's Annual Pancake Breakfast is Sunday, March 9 from 8:00 am to Noon. Join the Larry Richards Club for a great breakfast. The club members voted and all proceeds will benefit Shriners Hospital.

JBE Group Picture Day is Wednesday, February 26th. We will be taking pictures for Math Team, Academic Bowl Team, Student Council, Gardening Club, and Larry Richards Club.
There is a menu change for Friday, February 21st lunch.
JBE PTO has graciously offered to sponsor an AMI assignment incentive. JBE students who complete their AMI work and return it on the first day back will get their name entered into the drawing for FREE CARNIVAL TICKETS for each assignment they do. 1 assignment = 1 entry, 8 assignments = 8 entries. Please share this with your student. We look forward to getting them back in seat with their work in hand. THANK YOU for helping your student do their work!

It's an Alternative Methods of Instruction (AMI) Day #3 today (2.19.25). At this point, I sound like a broken record. THANK YOU for helping your student get their AMI work done! We hope to be back soon and the work is due when they return. Please help us get to 90% attendance. Please reach out to your students teacher with any questions.
--Elementary students need to complete FOUR items from the choice board for each AMI day to receive 100% attendance. They can do 20 minutes of iReady math and reading each AMI day.
--Everything beyond here is the same as the last two AMI Days.
--If you cannot find your 3rd quarter AMI packet, you can download a copy at https://www.mc-wildcats.org/o/jes under the AMI Packets link. All extra pages that the packet references are included in the scans on the link.
--Work is due on the day students return to school. You can write a note explaining the work that was completed. You can take a picture and send it to the teacher through e-mail, Dojo or Remind. Or, you can send the completed work with the student. Thank you for supporting our students.
--If you have any questions, please contact your student's teacher. They should be available from 7:30 am - 4:15 pm via e-mail or classroom messaging app.
