JBE GRAND’s Day 2022 is ALMOST Here. Please help share this information with our GRAND’s!
1. We are excited to share our JBE students with you!
2. Please do not bring other children to the JBE GRAND’s Day event. It is to celebrate our JBE students and their GRAND’s!
3. We had 276 GRAND’s RSVP. Please be patient, flexible and kind! It will be crowded, parking is limited and we are trying our best.
a. If you plan to take a student with you, please sign them out by the front lobby. We will have staff there to assist you.
b. Students are in last name order and grouped by family. You will only need to sign once.
c. You MUST have pre-approval to take your student.
d. You MUST get an exit slip that lists the students you have permission to take with you before you walk out the door with them.
e. You can come down anytime to sign your student out to avoid the lines at the end.
4. 3rd – 5th grade GRAND’s Day is from 1:00-2:00. The preschool & front doors will open at 12:50. GRAND’s will be asked to wait in the cafeteria until classrooms open at 1:00. Please help us clear the parking lot afterwards so we can prepare for our next GRAND’s Day.
5. Preschool – 2nd grade GRAND’s Day is from 2:30-3:30. GRAND’s will be asked to wait in the cafeteria until classrooms open at 2:30.
6. The book fair is open from 1:00 until Mrs. Davis is out of customers today. Please let your students teacher know if you would like to go to the book fair.
7. Our student's safety is our top priority. You may exit the building through the Preschool or Front Doors. You MUST have an exit slip to take a student with you. IF you were not on the student's RSVP of someone they are allowed to leave with, you will be asked to see Ms. Cora to make a verification phone call.

9. Thank you for being patient and kind today as we host our biggest post-Covid event!

Join us for Family Fun Night Tuesday, September 20th from 6-7:15pm. We will have games, activities, and snacks. Also take some time to stop by the book fair in the library. Stay for the PTO meeting at 7:15 in the library.
4th & 5th Grade Gardening: Don't forget there is Gardening Club today. 4th & 5th grade students must have a permission form to attend.
Thursday, September 15th is JBE Wears Red Day. We are going to celebrate the Cardinals and Chiefs playing on the same day. Wear your Cardinals, Chiefs, or red and help cheer on the Cards and Chiefs.
You are invited to join us for Cora Randolph's Retirement Open House in the Jonesburg Elementary Cafeteria on Thursday, September 29th from 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm. Jonesburg Elementary GRAND’s Day (Grandparents, Relatives, Aunts and uncles, Neighbors, Devoted caregivers) is planned for Friday, September 16, 2022. We would like to invite a GRAND of our student to join us for 2022 GRAND’s day. We are going to try something different this year to accommodate or GRAND’s that have multiple students at JBE as well as lessen the pressure on the parking lot and book fair. RSVPs were sent home in Friay Folders. JBE GRAND’s Day - September 16th 3rd, 4th & 5th Grade - 1:00-2:00 pm Preschool, Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd grade - 2:30 3:30 pm
GRAND’s Day is a special day for JBE students. NO other children will be allowed in the building. Please make other arrangements for younger siblings and other children so that JBE students can enjoy the day with their invited guests.

ATTENTION 4th & 5th Gardening: Today (Wedensday) is the first day of gardening club until 4:10. Students must return a signed permission form to participate.
It's the first Wednesday of the month, that mean's it's JBE day at Frumpy's. Frumpy Joe's has generously offered to donate 10% of their sales to Jonesburg Elementary!
