As most of you know our Wildcat Boys & Girls Basketball Teams won Districts on Saturday afternoon. This is the first time in school history that the boys and girls teams won districts in the same year. Please help spread the word in hopes that we can Paint the County BLUE on Wildcat Wednesday to show support for our student-athletes competing in the State Sectional games! The girls will play at 6:00 pm vs. Tipton HS and the boys at 7:45 pm vs. Cole Camp at Smith- Cotton High School in Sedalia. (2010 Tiger Pride Blvd., Sedalia, MO 65301) Congratulations to our players, cheerleaders and coaches for this accomplishment! Go Wildcats!
Due to weather conditions and secondary road conditions, the MCR-II School District will not be in session on Friday February 25. However, February 25 will be an AMI Day for all students.
The MCR-II School District will be dismissing at 12:30 P.M. today (2/24/22). HS students will not be going to Vo-Tech, and their will be no P.M. Pre-school.
The Soda Tab Collection Contest had been extended thru this week. All tabs must be submitted by 8 am on Friday, 2/25.
MCHS FCCLA will provide a popcorn and drink party to the winner in each building.

Celebrate 2s Day with us tomorrow! 2-22-22
Our MCE classrooms are having a contest to collect soda tabs to donate to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mid-Missouri. We are working to support the MCHS FCCLA project. All soda tabs are due the morning of Friday, February 18. The winning class with earn a popcorn party!

If you weren't aware, the Ronald McDonald House program helps reduce stress and the financial burden for families when they have a child staying in the hospital. The program helps with meals and provides housing while the family deals with the medical needs of their child.
MCE PTO Mom & Daughter Paint Night -
Sign up by January 26th to attend Mom & Daughter Paint Night at MCE on January 28th at 6 pm. Registration forms will be sent home today with students.

Bus 40 is running about 15 minutes late, Bus 31 is running 10 minutes late. Other buses may be taking it slow and running a little late, too. We want everyone to get to school safe today.

Science Fair Projects are due TODAY at 9 am.
Please bring them to the MCE office. Judging will take place today and tomorrow morning.
The schedule is as follows tomorrow:
5pm the science fair will open to the public
5pm free meal to the first 400 people at MCE Cafeteria
6:30 meal ends
6:30pm Science Fair awards will be given out
7pm Science Fair closes
The MCR2 Science Fair will be next Thursday, January 13th, at MCE!
Projects are due Wednesday morning (January 12th) for judging.
