JBE Change the World Day is Wednesday, April 20th. Students and staff are encouraged to bring a donation for Children's Hospital and wear a hat or their favorite sports team.

Wishing you a Happy and Safe Easter from our JBE Family!

JBE PTO is selling Shakespear's Pizza. Sale runs April 15-29. Money and orders are due back to school by Friday, April 29. Delivery date is May 20.

Out of extreme caution for the safety of our students, staff, and Optimist members, the Optimist and myself have decided that we WILL NOT attend the Cardinals game today. Students will be part of our lunch count and will be sent home via their regular end-of-day routine unless you communicate a different plan with the JBE office. We have some alternative fun indoor baseball activities planned today for our 5th-grade students and still plan to go to a Cardinals game in the future. We will make those decisions and communicate the plan after we gather more information from the Cardinals. As always, thank you for your understanding and flexibility! Our student's safety is our top priority and we are making the best decision we can with the information we have.

Fourth and fifth grade classes have the opportunity to create a poster for the Montgomery County Soil and Water Conservation District. This year's theme is Healthy Soil-Healthy Life. Students will begin their posters in class, but may need to work on it at home as well. They are due back on April 20th.

Join us for the JBE PTO Carnival on Sunday, April 24. We will have games, balloon animals, face painting, bingo, a cake walk, and more. Also join us for a fried chicken lunch. Lunch is $13 per person (5 and under free) and includes chicken, 2 sides, roll, drink, and dessert.

Fifth-grade parents,
The forecast for Wednesday's field trip to Busch Stadium shows rain and storms all day, however, we are still planning on going ahead. If you would like to opt-out of having your child attend, please contact the school in writing or by phone before school Wednesday. If the game is canceled or postponed, you will be notified and we will plan to send students home via their normal procedure IF we are back in time. We will take lunch count before we leave in case we return to school before lunch. You are welcome to pack lunch for your student in case we return to school. Students can bring a poncho or small umbrella if they want. We will get our information about potential cancellations from the St. Louis Cardinals website. Thank you for your understanding.

Montgomery County Cancer Supporters Easter Egg Fundraiser eggs are due TOMORROW (Wednesday, April 13). The class that raises the highest amount will win donuts for their class.
