This year we are really focusing on Growth at JBE and we are going to try something new. On January 13th, we will be hosting our Second Quarter Growth Parade. Our teachers have been talking to students about the importance of stretching ourselves and growing. Each student will help choose what growth they want to celebrate and make a sign to carry in the parade.
Parents are invited to sit in the gym bleachers and watch the parade. The parade starts at 8:05 on January 13th.

Celebrate our first day back with dinner at Fumpy's. 10% of all sales today will be donated to JBE.

JBE December to Remember: Thursday, December 22nd - Twas the Night Before Christmas - PJ Day

Thank you to everyone who donated to our December to Remember. You truly made it a December for us to remember.

The district has NOT made an announcement about school on Thursday, but after looking at the weather, we have decided that JBE will celebrate our winter class parties tomorrow, Wednesday, December 21st. In order to ensure that the food items that have already been purchased for parties will be used in a timely manner. If you signed up to send in an activity or food, please send it with your child on Wednesday. If you cannot make that happen, that is ok, but please let your teacher know.
In addition, we will let the students and staff choose which dress-up day they want to participate in on which day. They can choose to be bright like a Christmas tree or wear their PJ's on either or both days. I know this goes without saying, but please encourage your student to wear their winter coat.
Again, this is NOT an announcement about school for Thursday, simply a notification that winter class parties at JBE will be held on Wednesday. As always, thank you for your support, patience and understanding!
