MRC2 Elementary Schools are hosting Family Fun Night Under the Lights before the MCHS football game TONIGHT (Friday, September 22) from 5:30-6:30 pm. The event is free with your paid gate admission. Join us at the MCHS Football Stadium for lots of games, prizes, and fun.

Hannah T and Aaliyah O from MCHS FCCLA stopped by morning assembly. They spoke about what it means to be a MCHS Wildcat and what FCCLA does. They even got a "Ms. Krattli is Proud of Me" sticker.
Thank you the the JBE PTO, Jonesburg Optimist, and Jonesburg Lions Clubs for sponsoring a trip to Rooster's Farm Pumpkin Patch. Representatives from the Lions, Optimist, and PTO stopped by morning assembly to announce the field trip. Permission forms are due back to school on October 4.

Have you seen the renovations that have happened at Jonesburg Elementary over the past couple of years? Well, now's your chance! We are opening the doors to the public on Tuesday, October 17th from 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.. This will be an Open House setting where you can come in and take a look at the classrooms, renovations, and upgrades!
We are SO PROUD of our facility and are excited to share it with you! We welcome you to come see for yourself how much progress has been made at Jonesburg Elementary. Feel free to invite your family and friends to come see where our students learn and grow each day!

It's Book Fair Week at JBE. The book fair will be open today during our GRANDs Event for students to shop with their GRAND. The book fair will be open all next week for student shopping and will be open during our Family Fun Night on Thursday, September 21 for family shopping. You can set up an eWallet so you don't have to send cash with your student at https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/bf/jonesburgelementaryschool1
50% of our book fair sale stays at JBE. Our book fair enables us to give away books to our students, get extra books for our classrooms and library, and promote a love of reading.

JBE GRAND’s Day 2023 is ALMOST Here. Please help share this information with our GRAND’s!
1. We are excited to share our JBE students with you!
2. Please do not bring other children to the JBE GRAND’s Day event. It is to celebrate our JBE students and their GRAND’s!
3. We had over 300 GRAND’s RSVPs. Please be patient, flexible and kind! It will be crowded, parking is limited and we are trying our best. You may enter through the front doors or the preschool doors.
a. If you plan to take a student with you, please sign them out by the front lobby. We will have staff there to assist you.
b. Students are in last name order and grouped by family. You will only need to sign once.
c. You MUST have pre-approval to take your student.
d. You MUST get an exit slip that lists the students you have permission to take with you before you walk out the door with them.
e. You can come down anytime to sign your student out to avoid the lines at the end.
4. 3rd – 5th grade GRAND’s Day is from 1:00-2:00. The preschool & front doors will open at 12:50. GRAND’s will be asked to wait in the cafeteria until classrooms open at 1:00. Please help us clear the parking lot afterward so we can prepare for our next GRAND’s Day.
5. Preschool – 2nd grade GRAND’s Day is from 2:30-3:30. GRAND’s will be asked to wait in the cafeteria until classrooms open at 2:30.
6. The book fair is open from 1:00 until Mrs. Davis is out of customers. Please let your student's teacher know if you would like to go to the book fair.
7. Our student's safety is our top priority. You may exit the building through the Preschool or Front Doors. You MUST have an exit slip to take a student with you. IF you were not on the student's RSVP of someone they are allowed to leave with, you will be asked to see Ms. Chris to make a verification phone call.
