Mr. Sam Cobb of VFW #4436 presented our third-grade teacher Mrs. Amanda Jennings the VFW #4436 Teacher of the Year Award. The VFW Teacher of the Year Award is presented to a teacher who instills patriotism into their students. Someone who organizes events to take them to local government buildings, someone who teaches them about the flag, etc. Based on the submission from her fellow teacher it is shown she organizes the Veterans Day assembly each year. Mrs. Jennings received an award and plaque. We are so proud of her. Congratulations Mrs. Jennings.

Jonesburg Elementary painted the sky pink this morning for the Pink Out Game tonight. Don't forget to join the MCHS Basketball Teams for the Pink Out Game at MCHS tonight at 6 pm. Proceeds from the game go to the Helen Reagan Cancer Fund.

Thank you to the MCHS Varsity Basketball Teams for spending lunch with our students today. They had lunch, read to our classes, and played some games. Our kids loved having the basketball teams here.
