In honor of the Chiefs' fourth trip to the Super Bowl in the past five years, it's Team Day at JBE on Thursday, February 8th. Wear your favorite team shirt on Thursday. MCHS Courtwarming is on Friday, February 9th, so it's a Wildcat Friday. Show your support for the Wildcats and wear your Wildcat gear or blue and white.
It's School Counselor Appreciation Week. Thank you Mrs. Gambill for everything you do for our school and students. You are fabulously awesome! If you see Mrs. Gambill this week make sure you wish her "Happy School Counselor Appreciation Week."

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the Larry Richards Club Pancake Breakfast. We raised over $1300 for the Helen Regan Cancer Fund.
Montgomery County R-II received a safety grant from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Part of that money was allocated to fencing in our playground. Next time you are in the area, check it out. We want to clarify that the playground is closed to the community when school is in session. However, we encourage its usage outside of school hours. Please use the walk-through gate on either the east or west side of the playground.
We NEED YOUR HELP!!!! Please look for a way that you can help support our PTO Carnival through your service, donations, or both. Events like the Carnival are not possible without the helping hands of many people. Grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles, friends, and community members are all welcome to sign up to work. The Larry Richards Club Annual Pancake Breakfast is TODAY - Sunday, January 21. 100% of the profits will go to the Helen Reagan Cancer Fund. Cost is $10 for 6th grade and up, $5 for 7 years - 5th grade, and birth to 6 is free. Breakfast includes pancakes, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and a drink. Join us TODAY 8 am to noon.
