TOMORROW is the JBE StuCo Change the World Day - Wednesday, November 20. Students can wear pink or a hat and donate their change to make a difference. All change collected this month will go to the JB Lighted Parade.
Mark your calendars for our Christmas Break. Thursday, December 19th is a half day, so there will be no preschool.
Our preschool Christmas program is tomorrow, Wednesday, December 18th, at 3:00 p.m. in the cafeteria. Preschool doors open at 2:45. There is NO PRESCHOOL on 12/19.

JBE is excited to host the NED Mindset Mission on Monday, December 16. NED's Mindset Mission is a character education program that centers around three important messages that have lifelong relevance: Never give up, Encourage others and Do your best. During the assembly, students will learn about the importance of these three life skills while also enjoying storytelling, magic, humor and yo-yo tricks. Check your Friday Folders for information on ordering a yo-yo from the NED Mindset Mission. Orders are due to JBE December 18th.

A reminder that we have Monday School on December 16th. It will be a Friday Specials.
Thursday, December 19th is a shortened day. At Jonesburg Elementary Car Riders pick up at 12:15 pm. Walkers will leave at 12:20 pm. Bus Riders will dismiss around 12:55 pm. Please notify the office by 10:00 am if you are changing your student's typical dismissal routine.

Tomorrow is the Christmas Concert. Wear your holiday shirt or nice clothes.
Our JBE PTO will again be hosting Santa's Workshop for our students who wish to buy presents for their loved ones. This is NOT a fundraiser, all items will be $1! Our PTO wants to provide a way for students to do some shopping on their own this holiday season.
Santa's Workshop will be open December 10th-13th (or while supplies last). IF you wish to send money for your student to shop, please send it in a labeled envelope. It is also helpful if you send a "shopping list" with your student. There was a list sent home in last weeks Friday Folder. It helps them remember who they need to buy gifts for when they do their shopping.
Wear your favorite socks for Christmas Stocking Day tomorrow.
K-5 Performances
It's almost time! Our JBE Christmas Concert is coming up on Wednesday, December 11th. The concert will be held at Jonesburg Elementary in our gym. ALL grade levels, K-5 will be performing at the following times on the same night. K-1st will be singing at 6:00, 2nd-3rd will be singing at 6:45, and 4th-5th will be singing at 7:30. We will also be offering a matinee performance at the following times. K-1st will be singing at 1:00, 2nd-3rd will be singing at 1:45, and 4th-5th will be singing at 2:30. Doors will open at 12:45 and 5:45 respectively for the first performance.
There will be an Art Gallery in the secondary hallway, giving you a visual treat as you stroll down to the photo backdrop area. Just as in a real gallery the student artists have the option to sell their work (only at the evening performances)! The artists will get to experience the real-world connection of selling pieces in a gallery, with the gallery and the student both profiting from the sale (all proceeds will go towards the purchase of things to enhance the art curriculum). We welcome you to view their work and support our budding artists with purchases of art that catches your eye! We are excited to share our students’ talents with you and look forward to seeing you at your student's performance.
Students are asked to dress in holiday shirts or dress nicely.
