Lexile levels

A Lexile measure is a valuable piece of information about either an individuals reading ability or the difficulty of a text, like a book or magazine article. The Lexile measure is shown as a number with an "L" after it — 880L is 880 Lexile. On this site, parents and students can either find the level of a book or find titles within their level. The students obtain their level by taking the SRI (Scholastic Reading Inventory) through their language arts class.

Truman and Mark Twain Nominees

This is a list of books from MASL (Missouri Association of School Librarians) of the 12 book nominations for this school year. The Truman Readers Award encourages students in the early teen years to express their unique voice through exploring new literary genres, communicating with their peers about young adult literature, and honoring authors writing for young teens.
