Tutoring Requirements

To meet eligibility for the tutoring requirement, the student must:

  • Perform 50 hours of unpaid tutoring/mentoring.

  • Have an A+ Schools Participation Agreement on file in the A+ Office preferably before beginning.

  • Perform the tutoring under the supervision of a certified teacher.

  • Submit a Student Tutoring Log to the A+ Coordinator/Counselor for all hours towards this requirement.

  • Furnish own transportation at times to/from the tutoring site.

  • Follow program guidelines

A+ Tutoring Hour one semester during the school day or during SET time during the day.
