Tomorrow - Tuesday, August 24th - is the 1st Day of School at MCE! We can't wait to greet our students, and welcome them to a great new year of learning!

Class lists for the 2021-2022 School Year are posted on the MCE Cafeteria windows! Teachers officially return to school tomorrow to get ready for our students' first day of school. Our MCE office will be closed tomorrow morning, 8 am - Noon, for district meetings. We look forward to seeing our students on Tuesday, August 24th!

Good afternoon! This is a final reminder that online student registration closes on August 12. You must access the SISK12 Parent Portal to register your student for the 2021-2022 school year. If you need assistance contact the Central Office at (573)564-2278 or visit one of our buildings during registration. All four buildings will be open August 11 from noon to 8:00 pm and August 12 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Each building will have computers set up and can help you complete registration. Exciting News - We have ordered our new playground equipment for Montgomery City Elementary! It is scheduled to arrive mid-late October. Fingers crossed it arrives on schedule. Thank you so much to all who donated to this project!

Have you been reading this summer? Complete the Summer Reading BINGO Board and return it to school between Tuesday August 24th and Friday, August 27th to participate in our Summer Reading Celebration at MCE!

Registration for the 2021-2022 School Year will be: Wednesday, August 11th from 12:00 (noon) until 8:00 pm Thursday, August 12th from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm. Registration will be online this year. We will have computers available in our cafeteria for your use for the online registration process. Please stop by school during our scheduled registration times, to use our computers for this process if you do not have access to an electronic device for registration. . If you are a parent or guardian of a new or returrning student, please call or email Melissa Lockhart (mlockhart@mc-wildcats.org) to get your student active in our Student Information System, which is required for enrollment. If you have any questions, please call our central office at 573-564-2278.

Update on the Montgomery City Elementary Playground Project Cost of the new playground structure: $30,000 The district will pay 50%: $15,000 Amount of donations we have received: $5,975 Amount needed to fully fund this project: $9,025
