SMART GOALS Montgomery County R-II February 4, 2009 Revised July 27, 2009 COMMUNICATION: Goal: By Spring of 2010 we will have implemented 4-6 new (not currently in place) district communications to stakeholders. Indicator: August, October, December, February, and April. 100% of all district employees and Board of Education will receive communications. Completed 100% of administrator's reports to the BOE will be disseminated to all administrators and BOE members. Completed
100% of community members (non-parent- who have supplied email addresses) will receive district communications. (goal of 100 new email addresses)
ASSESSMENT: Goal: By 2011, 100 % of the core areas will implement and analyze formative data on a monthly basis. Indicator: By Sept. develop a timeline/schedule for monthly meetings. DOK (depth of knowledge) checklist and logs will determine if we are on target and on topic. COLLABORATION: Goal: Collaboration meetings will increase to 75% of the meeting being focused on teaching and learning, as measured by collaboration agendas. Indicator: Collaboration items discussed (as indicated on collaboration logs) will be focused teaching and learning (instructional practices).
Each year students scoring Proficient or Advanced on the MAP and EOC will increase by 5%.
