Welcome

Super

Welcome to the Montgomery County R-II School District's web site. We are pleased that you chose to visit our site. It is our goal to use this site to help communicate and share what is happening in our District. Please feel free to browse and contact me at mgray@mc-wildcats.org with any concerns or suggestions.

Montgomery County R-II School District is a place where we strive to succeed in our mission of "Lifelong Learners Productive Citizens". This mission not only pertains to our students, but all of our employees and Board of Education. Each and every one of us is aware that learning continues throughout our lives.

We are extremely proud of our District, employees and students. We strive to do the best that we can each day to provide our students and staff with opportunities to grow and excel. We desire to have our staff continue to improve in their roles as mentors and teachers while our students continue to grow in their knowledge and path to being productive citizens.

Our District wants to promote positive and continued communication with our staff, students and community. I want all to feel free to share and discuss ideas and perceptions of our District while understanding that while we may at times disagree, we all have the students' best interest as our goal.

Thank you and have a great day.

Michael D. Gray, Superintendent

Four Essential Questions Regarding Student Learning
1. What do we want our students to know and be able to do?
2. How will we know when they have learned it?
3. What will we do when students are not learning or being successful?
4. What will we do when students already know the material and are being highly successful?

It is a great opportunity; contact Janet Stumbaugh by June 15th if you are interested in attending for the next school year.
