·        Student Achievement – A school-wide emphasis will be made to improve student academic performance in the areas of Communication Arts, as measured by the 2007 MAP assessment and end of the year common assessments.

·        School-Wide Discipline – Bellflower Elementary will continue to support school-wide PBS (Positive Behavior Supports) initiatives and enhance awareness throughout the school community.  School discipline will be monitored using the SWIS (School-Wide Information System) program and system (school-wide, classroom, individual, etc.) decisions will be based on the evaluation of data.

·        Family Involvement/Community Awareness/Communication –Bellflower Elementary will increase parent/family/community awareness, involvement, and communication to support student achievement and success of all children.

·        Wellness – Bellflower Elementary will support the District’s comprehensive health and wellness initiative by participating in health/wellness activities offered by the district.

·        Technology – Bellflower Elementary will work together to increase staff knowledge of technology through professional development and the use of staff with more advanced technology skills.
